Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Road Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of road and highway infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, planning, and development of road and highway projects
- Prepare drawings, layouts, and technical documentation
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and project teams
- Review materials, measurements, and project reports
- Support cost estimation and project scheduling activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Basic knowledge of road design standards and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to work on-site as required
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software
- Familiarity with local road authority standards
- Knowledge of pavement design and drainage systems
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
